3 month old chickens in June. Penguin(rooster-left) and Henrietta(hen-middle) are Colombian Wyandottes, Mel is a Brown leghorn. He was supposed to be a girl - oops!
A copy of a post I made, responding to a question about postage costs.

The order is taken over the phone by a person who needs to be paid; to be packed by a person who needs to be paid; go a long way in a vehicle powered by expensive gas, driven by a person who needs to be paid; unloaded at customs by a person who needs to be paid; and looked over by a customs person who needs to be paid; then put on an expensive airplane propelled by expensive jet fuel flown by a pilot, copilot and navigator who all need to be paid; then unloaded at your customs by a person who needs to be paid; looked over by a customs person who needs to be paid; then onto a vehicle powered by expensive petrol driven by a person who needs to be paid; to a post office and sorted by a person who needs to be paid; put on another vehicle powered by expensive petrol and driven by a person who needs to be paid; to a smaller post office, sorted by a person who needs to be paid; put on another vehicle powered by expensive petrol and taken directly to your house by your mailman who needs to be paid.
