Yet another fuse bead black cat, this one with a pumpkin.

Mummy cupcakes with buttercream bandages and gummy Lifesavers for eyes.

I came across this picture of some paper twist ladies I made a few years ago. I had found a little sisal (I think) witch at the store, and recreated her in paper twist. These three went around a cauldron for Halloween, then the two on the right went in my Thanksgiving display.
There were a bunch of them for a while, but most have been given away. These are the only ones left. The witches hair is a sheet of paper twist, the blond has hair from a fraying Christmas ornament, and the gray hair is from my hairbrush!

The matching scarecrow smilie to the devil.

Saturday, October 24, 2009

A Devilish Smilie. It looks splotchy from the scanner; but is, in reality, solid red.

Been working on some backgrounds. Here's Autumn Tile and Night Sky.

Wednesday, October 21, 2009

I was playing about with the large heart and created some kitties.
You can see the design best in the multi-colored one.

Tuesday, October 20, 2009

The skull from skulladay on October 2nd gave me the idea for this design.
Made on the large square board.

Monday, October 19, 2009

I designed these witch shoes. I like the brightly striped ones best.
Perler should hire me to make new designs for them. LOL
Will design for beads and boards...

Sunday, October 18, 2009

I put this owl together from a pattern on the perlerbeads.com website.
I subtracted one gray bead per claw(or is it foot?), as I felt they looked more realistic this way.

Not quite happy with these skulls, they looked much better before melting.
Made on the large heart.

Tuesday, October 13, 2009

Three little Halloween cats. Heads are the lobes of the small heart shape.

Monday, October 12, 2009

Was playing around on the lobes of the small heart. Created 4 miniature skulls, and then ironed them together with a green bead to fill the middle space.

Sunday, October 11, 2009

Remade the broom. Bristles made on the small heart, stick taken from the original broom.
It seems much more like a broom. I think I'll use the other bristles as a Mardi Gras hat, or something.

Saturday, October 10, 2009

Witch hat and broom made on the large square pegboard.
Not happy with the broom design, I think it looks more like a feather duster.

Friday, October 9, 2009

Alien head. Made on the large penguin board.

Wednesday, October 7, 2009

A rather nifty spider on a web, if I say so myself.
Made on the large circle board. It always seems the darn white ones don't like melting as much as the other colors.

I'm not certain if these fellows belong in the Halloween section, but they are a tad strange.
All four fit diagonally on a large square board. I call them Goth Prince - times 4.

Monday, October 5, 2009

Here are two bats made on the large circle board. I adapted the design from the previous pumpkin wearing the purple hat.

Saturday, October 3, 2009

Here are two more jacko'lanterns. These were made with the sailboat board. DD made the black outlined one, then I made the two toned orange striped one.

Found this nice skull pattern at http://skulladay.blogspot.com/2007/11/166-fused-bead-skull.html . I adapted it a tiny bit, and also put it in shades of purple.
Half the people I showed it to knew it was a skull, the other half thought it was the Earth. Hm, wonder if it could be used in one of those Rorschach tests?
