

Step 1. Cut each doily in half.
Step 2. Fold corners to middle, creating a 90 degree triangle.
Step 3. Fold triangle in half, making a 45 degree triangle.
Step 4. Cut Slit Parallel To Open Side To Create Wings.
Step 5. Fold Each Wing Up & Out.
Step 6. Bend Tip Down To Create Head.

I hope the directions make sense.
It's been about... oh, 35 years or so since I made them for the first time.
By now the Christmas tree would look strange without any of them.
They look nice made from silver or red doilies, too.
